December 2023 Ranch Update

Greetings from TimberCreek Ranch!

As the Christmas season unfolds, we find ourselves reflecting on an incredible journey we’ve embarked upon and are humbled by the unwavering support of individuals like you who have been a beacon of hope for our cause.

Most of the young men who come to us have been neglected, abused, and are homeless, with just the clothes on their backs, and need help in almost every area of life, including food, clothing, shoes, hygiene items, and medical care. We constantly get calls from agencies and families looking for a place for young men with these needs, and while we have seen God perform miracle after miracle to help us keep our doors open, we have had to turn many away.

Recently, we had a homeless young man come to TimberCreek Ranch who was out of options and had nowhere safe to go. This Christmas season we are excited to share that this young man is now living in a nice home with other young men his age, with house parents for guidance and support, has a caseworker at TimberCreek Ranch working on his behalf, and is participating in vocational training at the ranch to help him learn valuable life skills. He is also now enrolled in school to finish his high school diploma, will soon be training to obtain his driver’s license, and has been participating in bible studies and going to church weekly.

TimberCreek Ranch is a Christ-based, non-profit organization that is 100% donor-based. We are seeking assistance with funding so that we can serve more of these young men and share the love of God through Faith, Hope, and Love.  Would you consider a donation today of any amount?  We have a goal of raising  $500,000 by this time next year, and any amount would be a blessing.

Your donation would help in the following areas:

Workforce Development:  Your support will allow us to strengthen our workforce development initiatives by partnering with local churches, businesses, and organizations, providing participants with real-world job training opportunities.

Mentorship: Your generosity will enable us to continue offering dedicated Christian mentors who work closely with participants, providing guidance, support, and encouragement as they work toward their goals.

Substance Use Disorder:  Your contribution will allow us to continue to recognize, identify, and assist those who come to us with substance use disorder and struggle with drugs and alcohol.

Staffing: Your support would allow us to hire and retain appropriate staff, which will help us serve more young men.

Capital Outlay projects:  Your contribution would help us to fulfill our needs for materials and equipment in the vocational department, provide Christian material and education, refurbish our basketball court, and repair and maintain the houses where our ranchers currently reside, including upgrading electrical and plumbing issues.  and to purchase and maintain reliable vehicles to transport our young men to school, jobs, court appointments and medical appointments, trips, education programs, and church, to mention only a few.

Animal Care:  Your generosity would also help us to continue to provide better feed and upkeep for our animals.
