June 2023 Update

 Dear Friends,

We wanted to inform you that our annual golf tournament, which we have hosted for the past 16 years, will not take place this year due to the overbooking of the Centennial Golf Course summer schedule.  Their management informed us that they had overbooked events for the summer, and the decision was made by their board to remove us from our scheduled tournament date in July of this year.  The golf tournament has been our major fundraiser and has been a very important, meaningful event every year for TimberCreek Ranch, and we regret not being able to host and get together for this fun event with our friends and partners this year.  However, we will be doing some table-hosting events throughout the summer – The first one is coming right up on June 27th – please see the attached flyer! 😊

However disappointed we were not to be able to host the golf tournament this year, God continues to open doors of possibilities to serve young men, many of whom have aged out of the foster care system and have been neglected, abused, and traumatized in the past. One of the best things about the growth of TimberCreek is the connections we are starting to make in several communities.  We are making every effort to make sure communities understand the help and assistance we are offering, and we are trusting God’s guidance and seeing his presence in our efforts, which has been very encouraging to us all.

Our mission goals are expanding.  We want to be able to continue to help young men first and foremost in knowing Jesus Christ, and the love and grace that comes with that relationship.  Many of the young men who have come here have accepted Christ as their personal savior.  We also will continue to provide safe housing, help young men continue their education, learn trades, gain meaningful employment, and learn to stand on their own two feet.

In the past, many of you have generously supported our mission at the golf tournament or in other meaningful ways. It is people like you that have kept the ranch going. We no longer receive state funds and are almost completely supported by fundraising events, donations, and grants. Would you consider gifting the ranch this year?

There are several ways you can help:

·       First and foremost, your prayers are powerful, and always appreciated.

·       Host a table in one of our table-hosting fundraising events.

·       Donate via PayPal on this website

·       E-mail us a request to call you so we can take a credit card payment over the phone at lvandenburg@tcranch.org

·       Send a check to TimberCreek Ranch 13014 Crucible Ln.  Sunfield, MI 48890

Your continued friendship, sponsorship, and prayers are appreciated so we can continue to make a difference in the young men that come to us to better their lives.
